3 hour Ashtanga Workshop with Rachel of Humblebee Yoga on 23rd February 2019 3-6pm – at our new studio at The Stables!
If you have never tried this dynamic, physically demanding practice this
will be a great place to start & if you are already a regular Ashtanga
practitioner and wish to deepen your knowledge of the primary series,
this too will help you gain the confidence and prepare you for a deeper
self practice (Mysore style).
We will learn the fundamentals of synchronising breath and movement to
produce an internal heat designed to purify the body, with its many
vinyasas, is great for building core strength and toning the body. This
workshop is suitable to all (not absolute beginners)
About Rachel:
Rachel has been practicing yoga for just over 9 years & has always loved
its endless benefits inside & out! She was overwhelmingly blessed to be
able to train for her 200h in the Himalayan Mountains in Dharamkot,
India and for her 300h in Mysore, India. Her training covered Ashtanga
Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha and Vinyasa. From these experiences she wanted to
bring a sense of Eastern authenticity and lifestyle to her Retreats, in
respect for the ancient yoga tradition & the scientific and logical
practice. Humblebee Retreats are based on her time in India, allowing
the space for fellow humblebees to embrace the Yogic lifestyle including
daily asana, pranayama, meditation practices, diet and general well
being throughout every day.
