Hatha Flow Yoga
Each week we flow through a different sequence, focusing on specific areas of the body: hips and hamstrings, chest openers and shoulders, core, twists and side stretches, sometimes balances will be included. Options will always be provided so you can choose how deep you move into a pose or how kind you’d like to be to yourself, depending on how you’re feeling on the day. Every class finishes with a soothing Yoga Nidra.
This class is suitable for everyone
Including those who already practises/ed yoga or would like to dip their toes in and try yoga, or those who cycle / run / climb / go to the gym and have tight areas in their bodies that need stretching out and not forgetting anyone who has ailments and old injuries. Karen has eighteen years teaching experience with a wide range of people to draw upon to tailor classes and specific postures to suit everyone and any body.
Meet Karen Bonnici
Karen is a Senior Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance, she has been practising yoga since 1999 and teaching since 2006 across London and the South Coast. Karen has taught adults, teens and children in schools, yoga studios and therapy rooms as well as providing Yoga in the Workplace.
Karen is deeply passionate about sharing the healing powers of yoga as initially it helped alleviate the pain she used to experience from a childhood back injury, yoga also reduced work-related stress when her career was in television, and supported her pregnancy and birth of her son. And finally, (she’s 50 next year!) yoga definitely helps reduce age-related creakiness whilst maintaining strength and flexibility, and helps reduce perimenopausal symptoms.
