Both modalities are rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and work on encouraging our energy (qi) to flow harmoniously through the mind and body.
We will explore a range of Yin postures, pairing them with self-reflexology techniques on our hands and feet, helping to remove energy blockages.
In Yin yoga, each posture has a specific energetic purpose, which allows us to create equilibrium along our energy pathways (our meridians) and therefore create harmony throughout the mind and body. We hold postures for 3-10 minutes, with the use of props (we love a bolster!), so you can really surrender into the practice and learn to become present.
In Reflexology different parts of the hands and feet relate to different parts of the body. And by using different pressing techniques on the areas of the hands and feet with our fingers, we can stimulate those organs and body parts and increase greater balance throughout the mind and body.

All equipment is provided, but should you like to bring your own (mats, bolsters, blankets, pillows, eye masks, etc) please feel free. We recommend you wear something warm and comfy!
